I think that the phrase “Good morning” may be one of the most beautiful words known to humanity. Because good morning speaks to the hope and bright possibilities that each new day may bring!
So Good morning Dear reader,
Did you know that a great morning routine can help to boost your health?
As a health and fitness enthusiast who loves learning ways to fit fitness into busy mom-life, my morning routine is a must!
Picture a morning routine as the primary way to balance your day! A morning routine is everything because the rhythm that you set for your morning schedule can boost or break your day!
For example, what is a factor that many, if not most, moms deal with on a day-to-day basis? No, not busy; that’s another factor for a future post.
The answer is mess!
The mess of Mamahood can spoil everything… unless you get ahead of the mess with a game plan!
A game plan designed to set priorities and organize your busy day!
When our three boys were toddlers, my morning routine made our day. My flashbulb memory of this time goes something like this…the boys were ages 1, 3, and 5, too much mess and fun spun to practically everyone still in diapers. I was nursing our littlest, and nursing is a special, separate process that required a schedule to maintain my milk supply.
Talk about busy! Our cooking and cleaning schedule was posted on the fridge. And my fluctuating nursing and diapering schedule sat propped on the counter, so I could edit it as needed.
As you can guess, my morning routine really set the rhythm for me to run our home as gracefully as I could:).
(sidenote, a well feed baby is best; whether you bottle-feed or breastfeed, no discrimination, just love your baby please.)
You do not need to have a perfect routine.
You do not need to spend hours at the gym.
And you do not have to wait for “the right time” to start taking care of yourself. Start where you are!
Begin with a morning routine designed by you, for your home!
Whether you’re a new mom, a postpartum mom, homeschooling, working, chasing toddlers, or simply trying to find yourself again—there is room for your health, your strength, and your wellness.
And as always,
Take Care!
