Seeds are an important factor in a garden;
these sparks of life are a key component to foster a haven of botanicals in an otherwise desert environment.
My point being,
start with the seed of a health prone mindset,
to initiate a seed of fitness practices
to instill the seed of consistent fitness systems
that can in turn foster fitness
in your life!
I begin this blog with the succinct image of a desert garden, because this metaphor has been a part of my lived reality for the past year.

What you give attention to has a higher likelyhood of thriving;
so as you give the love, care, and attention to your children to help them to have what they need to thrive;
remember the importance of your own health, and that attention to fitness can help your whole family to thrive!
Personaly I think the seeds to a desert graden must first be planted in nutrient rich soil,
likewise as you focus on fitness consider adopting a whole foods diet which is proven to be nutrient richer than the alternative.
Secondly the seeds of your desert garden must be watered regularly, says science,
please set a daily goal to increase your filtered water consumption, if you do not already drink approximately eight cups of water per day.
My family and I moved from the tropical island Okinawa, to a Desert Island Bahrain.
Now this part of the Middle Eastern Desert pleasantly surprised me and dissolved my limited expectations.
Bahrain is a beautifully mantained garden rich island, which is framed by the golden warm sun.
While a desert by definition is barren, dry, without the natural ablity to sustain life. A garden can be a bountiful space that is a haven of botanicals, and atmosphere for a garden of life to thrive.
The effects of an established garden is expontial growth,
as expected due to proper cultivation of the dirt, supplying the soil with seeds and then watering and removing weeds; which in turn may disrupt the garden.
In closing,
thinking back to the beautiful garden rich environment in the Bahrain desert, I would like to encourage you to consider planting some seeds of fitness, today!
Seeds of fitness which in turn can spark health to thrive in your garden of life!
And as always,
Take care!
~Ray
